SAM BYRON is a Chicago-born writer based in Brooklyn.
His plays include Bobby (Finalist, Stage Left Residency), Butcher (Workshop, Harold Clurman Lab), Standard Aptitude (Semifinalist, The O’Neill New Play Conference), Gordy Crashes (Ricochet Collective, IRT), Animals (Wide Eyed Productions, New York Fringe), Brooklyn Vacancies (finalist, New Works Program at T. Schreiber Studio), and Static (finalist, HotCity Theater’s Greenhouse Festival).
He was the 2015 Harold Clurman Playwright-in-Residence at the Stella Adler Studio in New York and a recipient of the 2012 Steinberg New Playwrights Fellowship.
