Sam Byron is a playright and musician based in Brooklyn. Plays include Bobby (finalist, Stage Left Residency; semi-finalist for the New American Voices Festival), Impossible Greens (finalist, Humana’s Heideman Award), Butcher (Stella Adler Studios), Standard Aptitude (Semifinalist, O’Neill New Play Conference), Gordy Crashes (Ricochet Collective), Animals (Wide Eyed Productions and the Present Company).

He has been the Playwright in Residence at Stella Adler Studios and was a recipient of the Harold & Mimi Steinberg New Playwrights Fellowship. MFA, The New School.​
